Well, here I am again with another outing we took in what may one day be known as Tomorrow-Morrow Land.
Yep…just sitting here and cataloging what life was like in the Great Before while I grimly wait for the hollow promise that things will come back to being as they were. This was just last summer and a lifetime ago.
Someday, they will speak of how there were once these “Bug Zoos” or “Insectariums” and a good number of people might wonder why- why would you make that?!
First of all, this place is well lit and full of terrors. This feels like a threat.
NOPE.Sure, it’s interesting to her now, but the second a tiny ant crawls on her arm in the real life outdoors….At least she’s smiling while it excavates. This will be her driving test face.Actual footage of my last apartment.Something about this guy seems familiar. My husband has this look down. This bug is probably getting a better send off then I will. The Bug Theater is supposed to be fun, but this is how Lillian looks when she is unfathomably terrified. She gets her expressions from her father. The butterfly whisperer.“I am Jack’s jealous rage.”I know this statue isn’t meant to be terrifying butLily and Violet both here at age five. Same bug car- different attitudes.
That kitchen photo actually does look like your old place on Camp Street.
(Also my old place on Magazine… also my old place uptown… also…)
